On Saturday 27th November 2021, we held an event day with the local community to plant a forest garden adjacent to the Hillmead estate, in Shepton Mallet.
Wedmore Village Farm is the FFP’s new community farm, in Wedmore. On the farm we grow free produce for local food banks and schools.

In 2017, we undertook a public consultation to understand the requirements for a food forest in Shepton Mallet. It was considered that Shepton would be an ideal place.

Worthington Woods Community Food Forest based in Wedmore is our third food forest project. This is a two-acre plot providing much-needed biodiversity and a natural space.
Address: Wedmore, public car park – free parking – BS28 4EE, gate in the corner of the car park.
In November 2022, we will be planting our fifth community food forest. This food forest will be the first three layers of a 2-acre food forest in Evercreech, a village near Shepton Mallet.

Our November 2023 project was Dragonfly Forest Garden, in Midsomer Norton. A small community forest garden next to Dragonfly Leisure Centre.
